    1. 100% yes absolutely. Trump’s cutting of USAID alone is estimated to kill like 14 million people in the next ten years. That one haphazard cut he probably barely thought about is going to give Donald Trump a body count nearly twice that of Hitler’s holocaust if nothing changes for the people impacted.

And we aren’t even getting into covid shit, loss of healthcare, loss of anti-poverty programs, his increasing authoritarianism, ICE bullshit, and the apparent wars he wants to start with like south and central America.

Most likely yes. Absolute garbage can of an administration. I hope the next Democrat administration grows a spine and holds these thugs accountable.

shocks me everytime this questioned is asked…..it’s like asking do we breathe?

The difference is that it is in the wide open. Has the US killed innocents? Absolutely. It at least had the decency to try to cover up the crimes. Not now. Trump thinks that is being „tough“. That isn’t tough. That’s a war crime.

Even if the guys on the boats are carrying drugs it’s still murder.

I’m not going to mourn for criminals but it’s terrifying that the government is just bombing foreign boats without any due process.

Yes. It has been for decades! The U.S. involves itself in other nation’s affairs and sends in the military, or acts covertly to achieve what it believes is best, but only out of self interest. These involvements have led to the deaths and maiming of thousands of innocent civilians, and thousands of military personnel. Under the current regime, not only is the U.S. killing innocent people abroad, but due to the actions of Trump, American citizens are being deprived of the basics of life, which will inevitably lead to deaths. Trump is also depriving military veterans of benefits.

It appears so. If they start bombing on land, the collateral damage will be enormous. Trump doesn’t ever put much value on lives that aren’t Christian and white unless they’re in Israel.

    8. No, the US isn’t killing innocent people. It’s **murdering** innocent people, there’s a difference.

Regardless of whether you’re driving a boat that’s packed out with tuna or cocaine, you are innocent until you have due process and are found guilty in a court of law.

An airstrike is not due process.

    9. Innocent or not is not the subject, you don’t kill people unless they pose an immediate threat period. Reflecting on whether they desserve it or not is the beginning of accepting what they are doing.

    10. The righteous USA killing innocents home, abroad, and the open seas. A truth as old as time.

    11. Ummmm I’m I still living in a country of “innocent until proven guilty” right? So you take out the due process part and… yup, we are killing innocent people because they have not had their day in court.

    12. badwolf1013 on

Probably. We likely won’t know, because there was no trial or conviction. Just executions.

And that’s the real point here. Deadly force is being used without cause.

Innocent or not: this is not how our justice system is supposed to work.

    13. Disastrous-Ad1857 on

Yes, since day one of this country’s founding, we have been killing innocent people.

We are, the attacks on boats are being done without any evidence. We also aided Israel in it’s genocide. We are culpable. We cut off USAID as well which hurt millions on top of that.

It’s not just this administration, we’ve gotten involved in things that we shouldn’t have got decades that innocent people have been killed in. From drone strikes to armed conflicts. Our meddling kills people.

    15. If your rule of law says ‘innocent until proven guilty’, then these people on the boats re innocent. This is unlawful execution – or murder, to put another spin on it. By proxy, your president is a murder as well as a rapist

43 so far, given he hasn’t asked Congress to declare war and they refuse to provide evidence against them – it is, in effect, state sponsored terrorism. Could you imagine if another country did this to boats leaving Miami?

I’m unclear as to why this hasn’t been brought to the international criminal court system, yet. Also, not sure why Republicans, other than Rand Paul, have stood up and said anything. Regardless of how you feel about illegal drugs coming into this country, there is a legal way to handle this. If this were a Democrat President doing this, he would have been impeached already.

This is a criminal act and everyone involved should be held accountable. Period.
