Mehr als 6.500 freie HSE-Stellen trotz verfügbarer Mittel

It can’t fill maternity leave because people have jobs.

It doesn’t look like it’s full time work either, just covering mat leave.

Why would someone move to those places, with limited accommodation available, at high prices, on basic pay, only to have to move again in a few months.

The pay, the culture, the work conditions, and the fact that it is a burning garbage heap that gets worse every year with no signs of change makes it an undesirable employer.

Gobshites have decided, without any actual thought, how many people should work in the HSE and it’s ’computer says no’ to actually useful staff to make space for boardroom dwelling cunts.

Wife trained ICU nurse from Ireland, worked in both the HSE (drogheda) and in Canada. We also had one kid in Ireland and one kid in Canada so very unique insight from both sides.

HSE Wrk: toxic culture, way to many managers, nurses, junior doctors any staff wit less than 15 yrs exp are worked to death! Never get days off approved, always get the worst shifts (nights weekends) wife was scheduled to wrk our kids first Christmas while nurses with no kids get it off. Pay is absolutely awful! Shed 9 yrs exp, €32k a yr with over time. U can’t move up unless someone retires.

HSE Customer: the night before she give birth in the same hospital she wrked, a student nurse give her med’s (which they can’t do by law) she goes, I know I shouldn’t be doing this but I am the only one here, so it’s me or no one. She had to show a junior doctor where to place the pads for an ecg, because he’d never been taught. She wanted to breastfeed, the nurses and doctors might of as well worked for a baby formula company, wud not support her at all, until 1 nurse who had never seen it since she was a junior nurse 20 yrs ago got her the support. After the birth (c section) I had to wheel the cart with my kids out of the surgery, my head was down making sure I didn’t crash into anything, they told me to stop so I looked up, I was in the middle of a fucking corridor sitting beside a massive green bin with 20+ ppl 10 feet away trying to get admitted to the unit. The next day my wife wanted to have a shower so needed help (mind u she’s after surgery) the doctor goes, sure ur a nurse u know what to do… So I was the help! While our kid was just by itself in a ward of 10 ppl.

There is some great!!!!! People in the HSE that look out for each other, mostly the lowest on the totom pole that love what they do and it’s all the fucktards middle management and up that have made it a complete joke! It’s mainly desperate old fuckers that can’t believe they’ve got into the position they have robbing a living don’t want to teach anyone, don’t care about younger staff that makes people not want to go there.

Rant over, My wife’s an ICU nurse now in Canada and loves it, having a kid in Canada was also better 😂
