When the truth is basis for a tantrum, it’s a sure sign that you are dealing with an elementary school mentality. We just need to wait it out. Any promises are false, so just delay delay delay until there’s a new regime.

      Every time Trump makes a threat, it’s like watching a toddler announce they’re running away from home, he gets to the end of the driveway and remembers dinner’s in an hour. This is the second time he has terminated trade talks with Canada, me thinks it won’t be the last.

      “We can give each other much more than what he can ever take away.” Let’s do this already. Leave this negotiation that was never going to go anywhere evidently. Increase energy export rates. They still need our steel and lumber. Help the auto industry pivot their careers, or open up market to China and other European brands, and call it a day. This is an attack, don’t wait to be saved, pivot.

      Not that I actually care about the tariffs or if this guy’s upset but I just want people to know that Doug Ford is basically the same thing as Donald Trump where we live.

      This week in the Legislature he’s trying to completely remove any kind of rent protection left in Ontario. He wants to rip up wetlands and Indigenous territory that contains nine endangered protected species so he can build a new highway. Oh and wanted to get rid of all of our bike lanes downtown Toronto even though they’re heavily used… there’s so much more but this is the latest

      This convicted felon posing as a President has no deal making skills at all. First He’s doing exactly what Reagan warned against – and scamming the American people. Then he’s using trade and tariffs as a blunt object against other nations when they do something he doesn’t like. He doesn’t even know how to use tariffs strategically. This is just another of his bully tactics that other countries are already not even taking seriously anymore because he’s cried wolf too many times. Perfect example is China who said OK, we’ll just buy all of our soy beans from Argentina instead of American farmers ( who are now being financially decimated bigley) .
