Far-Right politicians and Russia… it’s like peanut butter & jelly, bbq & beer, or racism & fascism.

>On Sept. 12, an international congress of far-right and neo-Nazi movements was held in the Mariinsky Palace in St. Petersburg, the seat of the city’s parliament. The event was organized by Konstantin Malofeev, a self-styled “Orthodox” billionaire who has been accused of fraud and cryptocurrency theft. Malofeev began organizing gatherings of far-right forces as early as the spring of 2014 — the same year he financed armed militants led by Igor Girkin (“Strelkov”), first in Crimea and then in the Donbas. Unlike those meetings from a decade ago, the latest gathering attracted several open Nazi sympathizers. Among those in attendance were neo-fascists from Italy and Brazil, neo-Nazis from Greece’s Golden Dawn, radical nationalists from Serbia, Germany’s Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), and other far-right groups. The conference also featured speeches by fascist ideologue Alexander Dugin and Swiss conspiracy theorist and anti-Semite Alain Soral. The event concluded with the establishment of the International Sovereigntist League “Paladins,” named after a murderous terrorist organization founded by a former SS officer.

Been wondering when we’d be seeing more connections to the International League of Anti-Globalist Paladins

The headline is inaccurate. They are not accusing, they brought it to the table since it’s based on facts and evidence

To quote Wadsworth in *Clue*: „Communism was just a red herring.“
The Russian state – whether embedded in a Soviet facade then or controlling client states now – has used groups like this for over 100 years to advance its interests.
The methods are the same. The flavor has just shifted from far-left to far-right. Conveniently for them, there is a great deal of inertia and plenty of far-left groups are still lining up to do business with them, for the increasingly incoherent and anachronistic cause of „opposing imperialism“ (by helping Russia in its efforts to absorb a sovereign democratic state by force).

My german jaw stayed firmly in place.
AfD have for a long time obviously been Putin’s little minions that he wanted to get in charge for Germany. So they can weaken Germany and the EU.

I have to ask again. Who would you be, if you weren’t just parroting Kremlin propaganda? Or are you just a shell of a human, given purpose by it?

The AfD was openly financed by Russia and is speaks consistently in Russia’s interest. I can’t understand how anyone is remotely surprised.

All the far right movements across the world are funded by Russian petroleum dollars.

Nice. Now do the reform party and the GOP.
It’s blindingly obvious to everyone else that all Russia wants to do is destabilize the West.
And it’s winning.
