By this they mean they will crack down on the scalper bots that are not part of their secret partner program. They’re ok with those ~~scalper~~ „partner“ bots.

I suspect though that a whole lot of normal fan accounts are going get accused of being brokers. Then TM will say, „Gee whiz, we really tried to crack down but it ended up hurting fans.“

There is a solution to scalpers: do not allow to resell tickets for more than they bought them. And also share the accounts of resellers with CRA (IRS) to make sure they de lare their gains.
But Ticketmaster would never do that, because they benefit $$$$ from reselling.

In Ontario Canada the Premiere is Pro scalper. He removed the law that was in place maxing reselling at 50%
