Lohnt es sich, für leichtes Camping mit dem Auto eine solche Feuerstelle mitzunehmen, oder würden Sie empfehlen, Feuerholz mitzubringen und die Feuerstelle auf dem Campingplatz zu nutzen? Welche Erfahrungen haben Sie mit der Verwendung einer Propan-Feuerstelle gemacht? Danke!

I’ll use wood wherever possible if a fire pit is provided, but have a portable propane pit for when wood isn’t legal or convenient.
Propane gives decent ambiance, but the heat output sucks (little radiant heat compared to wood), the gas valve noise isn’t near as awesome as crackling wood, and the pits consume relatively expensive propane fairly quickly. Biggest benefits of propane are no smoke smell and easy off switch.
Wood is so much more fun. Tending a fire is half the reason I go car camping.
I hate to be an ass. But that has to be one of the dumbest questions anyone has ever asked.
At that point why not just get an electric heater and large battery?
