Kyodo News führte am 21. und 22. nach der Amtseinführung des Takaichi-Kabinetts eine landesweite Notfall-Telefonumfrage durch. Die Zustimmungsrate des Kabinetts betrug 64,4 % und übertraf damit die 50,7 % des Ishiba-Kabinetts und die 55,7 % des Kishida-Kabinetts zum Zeitpunkt ihrer Amtseinführung.
