I’m hoping for the day to come, when the german ministry of justice announces a massive raid on the whole AfD as the result of a multiple year long investigation into treason against the federal republic and I get to watch them all being arrested.
But everytime I think about the Strache affair in Austria, I am reminded that their followers don’t care. They will sell themselves and all of their countrymen for money, power and hate in that order.

You thought afd gets cash from kremlin for nothing in return?

Well kinda stupid article if the ruling party is accusing the opposition because of questions regarding their own mistakes.
Would be nice if the ruling parties would finally accept that people are not happy with the current situation and change their own politics.

So, out of curiosity; at what point is this treason?

Honestly, isn’t this the case for every far-right political party.

This comes from the Social Democrats, the party that still has Gerhard Schröder as a member in good standing.
Earlier this year, Ralf Stegner, the former head of the SPD in Schleswig-Holstein and a member of the Bundestag control commisson for the secret services and Matthias Platzeck, the former federal SPD party head and minister president of Brandenburg had a [‚private meeting‘ with Baku](https://www.tagesschau.de/investigativ/kontraste/deutschland-russland-treffen-baku-100.html) with Valery Fadeyev, the head of Russia’s Human Rights Council and Viktor Zubkov, the current chairman of the Gazprom board and others.
But nothing to see here folks, it is clearly the opposition parties like AfD and BSW that are the problem.

Almost all of Europe’s far-right is still supporting Putin. They *say* they don’t, but those are utter lies. They admire Putin, they look up to him, they want to be him.
The far-right = autocratic, at the very least. This should be crystal clear to everyone by now.

Manuela Schwesig, the current minister president of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, her predecessor and her former environment minister (all SPD) created an ‚environmental‘ foundation with 20 million from Gazprom to build North Stream 2 [in a blatant display of corruption](https://www.ndr.de/nachrichten/mecklenburg-vorpommern/Nord-Stream-2-War-die-Klimastiftung-MV-eine-Erfindung-der-Russen,nordstreamzeitenwende104.html).
