Rob Dannenberg was CIA station chief in Moscow. He says that Putin being KGB was trained on how to assess and manipulate your target of interest. And he’s using that on Trump.

He didn’t get on the phone with Trump for peace talks, he just wanted to get the Tomahawk missile deal cancelled. And lol Trump gave up that concession even before any real talks. So Putin got what he wanted, the peace summit doesn’t matter so much.
