Is the Carney strategy just to use Gary Anandasangaree as a whipping boy for all of the Liberals‘ half-baked legislation and policy, letting him humiliate himself publicly day in and out, and then eventually discarding him when he stops being useful? There’s no way even Gary Anandasangaree can believe there’s a light at the end of the political tunnel, right? You can’t be the public face of every Carney-era Liberal mistake and then expect getting promoted or ever becoming leader yourself. It seems to me there are 3 possibilities: Gary Anandasangaree believes his loyalty will be rewarded with an appointed diplomatic position, he doesn’t fully understand what is being done to him, or he just enjoys public humiliation. No kink shaming, of course.

      >During a background briefing, two senior Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) officials argued that changes to the agency’s powers contained in the Liberals’ Strong Borders Act (C-2) are “reasonable and modest” and noted **they’ve been surprised at some of the pushback.**

Are they stupid or just out of touch. I wouldn’t expect people from the agency these laws grant more powers to to have a broad understanding of these laws.

Yes , this is why we have Paralment.

I personally like Carneys bounce , hes not afraid to slap stuff on the wall and adjust .

Its a refreshing change from that of Trudeaus policies of the gods , I think the liberal caucus is warming up to this approach and quite frankly it seems the ones who cant separate from the previous Trudeau and Pierre approach are being dropped relatively quickly .

Its tough for Pierre to navigate this as untill he drops his more fairy tale optics to the right , he will have a tough time claiming credit for real opposition while blending it with the ridiculous .

This style of leadership Carney is using is also putting pressure on multiple Premiers , the game of optics is getting harder to play by players like Smith, Eby and Ford.

    4. What the hell. What happened to the right to privacy for all Canadians ? This bill C2 absolutely needs further review!

Border bill really, and then if I read the article correctly the police can ask for any information about you and the service provider must give it. How about no! And go get a warrant. Regardless if I am a suspect or not.

Nice of the liberals to try to pass this quietly right under our noses. Why is the rest of the media not bringing this issue to the forefront?

Warrentless searches restroom many levels. It seems the Liberals are determined to limit or remove our human rights. Canadians need to be very worried and concerned
