      OK, the giant terrifying eldrich Moose of Norway and Sweeden do resonate stongly with the history of the Vikings.

      And wait a minute, is a significant section of Europe all Lions??! Maybe we should form a Pride!

      The national animal of Ireland is the Irish Hare, not some lop-eared, spotty bunny.

      I’m pretty sure Denmarks is wrong, our national animal is the Mute Swan

      Austria is wrong on several levels. First of all, the national **animal** is the black eagle, as it is also represented in our coat of arms. Then, the national **bird** of Austria used to be the barn swallow (depicted here) but only for a few years in the 60s, after that the great white egret became the national bird of Austria.

      Fu fact: Scotland’s coat of arms has a Unicorn because they were thought to be the natural enemy of the (English) Lions.
