Just a reminder that the terrorism tactics used by the Tamil Tigers were the inspiration for groups like Hamas for their brutality, suicide bombings, child soldier recruitment tactics and targeting of civilians.

Not only had this member of a terrorist organization been removed from Canada already, and denied re-entry, but when they were in Canada they weren’t even a constituent of his.
This is now the 2nd instance of this Minister using his office to try and influence CBSA to allow into Canada members of a prescribed terrorist organization. It also needs to be noted that Anandasagaree is a member of the Tamil community, and the terrorist organization at question here is the Tamil Tigers who fought against the Sri Lankan Government to establish an ethnic Tamil state.
And to make this even worse, this is the person Mark Carney put in charge of our agencies who hold the responsibility for ensuring migrants are not affiliated with terror groups.
