I’m actually surprised there exist Del Taco locations in the southeast. I’m even more surprised that Texas doesn’t have a single location in spite of most of their new arrivals coming from California.

    2. The weirdest part about this map is that Del Taco isn’t in the Bay Area. One location in Pittsburg and one in Fairfield, which are both fringe Bay Area on the way to Sacramento.

If DT brought one to Kapolei on West Oahu they could just print money.

My father went to DT on Glassell Avenue in the city of Orange so much the store manager threw him a going-away party when my dad told them he had accepted a new job with H-P and was moving us to Oregon. After the move he became a Taco Time convert.

    4. Having Del Taco from the original locations in Barstow makes every other Del Taco disappointing

I had 5 for breakfast yesterday. T-Bell is far superior other than service.

Is del Taco a Taco Bell alternative or what? Never heard of the joint

I remember seeing one in Minnesota outside of Eden Prairie .. or I might be trippin‘

    8. I think one of the two Del Taco locations in my state is near where my stepdad used to do his UPS routes on. Since if my memory serves me correctly he always liked getting Del Taco if he could(IE whenever my mother didn’t pack his lunch)

    9. I lived in Texas back in 2013-14, and there was a Del Taco right in the town I lived in (San Marcos). Was that the only one in the state, and did it close?

    10. There used to be one in my town but recently closed down. I miss it so much.

    11. feel that del Taco is a lil underrated for its American-style „tacos“ and burritos . the nachos kinda suck . maybe it should be a lil cheaper and it would be 5-stars

I would gladly trade you my local Taco Bell for a Dell Taco. And it’s a good one

I could have sworn there was a Del Taco in Tennessee, but from this map I guess we must have been somewhere in Alabama when I saw it. I just remember we were on our way to Pensacola Beach. :p

    14. Although Taco Bell is overall superior, Del Taco’s Chicken Soft Taco is quite good, and much better than Taco Bell’s equivalent (which uses shredded chicken).

Del Taco is much better as long as the beans are cooked correctly. That said, I’m loving the decades menu at TB right now, with the return of the double decker taco and 7-layer burrito.

I love both, but Del Scorcho sauce > Fire sauce

As a Californian who has lived in a couple of these other states I genuinely had no idea any other state but California had a Del Taco

    17. There used to be one here, in Illinois. It didn’t last long. A friend’s wife found hair in her food. The hair was red. There was one ginger in that kitchen , Anne when confronted, had the nerve to ask “How do you know it’s mine?!” 😂

Is it just me or are the locations in OK looking a little, uh, phallic

    19. I’ve had a worse case of the shits than after the one time I ate at an Oregon Del Taco

      Never again
