Late stage capitalism! Everyone rush to greed!!!
It’s a mix of losing people, and also having to make a profit for shareholders. So, the remaining HBO subscribers have to pick up the cost. Not justifying this unfortunately it’s something that’s just happening across the board. Greed and profit are all these companies think of, then they go and cancel your favorite show lol.
Netflix and hbo max won’t let us share anymore, so it’s time to cancel both.
At this rate I am just going to stick to YouTube free movies.
The only way to elicit action from any company is with your wallet. The streaming services are too many and too fractured and many users still have to pay for internet and for access to broadcast TV. Stop buying streaming services. That’s the only action that will lead to more competitive pricing. It’s worse than cable and the whole point was to cut cable out in the first place.
