2 were only dismissed. Other 8 are still there. They should be arrested.

    2. This was common practice just a few years ago. They made laws against it in 2019 in preparation for the olympic games to portray Japan as a more civilised country against physical, and verbal discipline. I am sure if you hung around a few kindergartens, and daycares you would see it still persists with workers of all ages. It is whether or not they are ratted out.

The workers at daycares, and kindergartens have experienced all sorts of hellish scenarios with kids, and they are even allotted [mental days] to book off. It is no surprise that some of them cannot handle the pressure, and do turn into a hyde character from time to time.

Japanese children are very demanding, even pushing the most patient Japanese nursery care providers to their limits.

What we see in the West as absolutely crazy kid behavior, is just a normal day here.

The teachers cannot use physical discipline, or verbal discipline, and they either shutdown, or act out.

I expect this is sadly not an isolated case.

I know of a case where the parents of a disabled child know and have video/cctv evidence of sexual abuse by a caregiver, but they will not report it to the authorities. They reported it to the facility who investigated (hence the cctv). However the facility is understaffed so except a warning, no action has been against the employee. No action was taken with the police. The desperate parents removed their child and were “lucky” to find somewhere else moderately convenient.

Why won’t they report this to the police? Because if they do, they strongly believe that they will be blacklisted as a difficult family/child. It will be impossible to get their child into another facility and any sort of justice could take years. I have tried to encourage them to report it but am in no place to tell them what to do, or blow up their lives.

Although much less of a problem, there is a similar type of blacklisting between general childcare facilities, which breeds at least some reluctance to report.

We need more people like Dexter.
