      Ukraine is not dependent on USA for their defense as long as they have EU support. The only reason for these meetings is that Trump wants a nobel peace price because obama got one. It’s completely insane.

      That’s great news. The only summit Putin is willing to do is to sign Ukraine’s surrender. That’s not happening, so no reason for them to meet.

      When Trump says theres a meeting on and Ukraine needs to ceed territory, and Ukraine is saying the Whitehouse meeting was fruitless – they are trying to signal to Russia that Russia might get some of what they want if they come to the table.

      Then Russia signals back „territory transfer is non negotiable“ and then next thing Trump is telling Ukraine, „Ukraine can totally win the war against Russia.“ Typical poker ante-upping.

      Then the two sides get huffy with each other and Now the Hungary meeting might not be going ahead at all

      Tomorrow the tomahawk threat will be back and then that Dmitry Medvedev will go on Russian TV and talk about nuking the „anglo saxons for the glory of the Motherland“ or some other drivel.

      Its like watching kids bickering over something in the playground, but played out on a global scale. While also being a broken record. There was only one way to deal with a bully that tries to take your lunch. You dont negotiate for half of it back if they would like. You spoil their nose.
