The current GOP policy is „better to stand by his shit hose than be under it“

    2. This title phrase is going in my ‚Word Combinations Not Expected To Be Read as Non-Fiction‘ file.

    3. Any Republican who wants to preach to me about respect and professionalism can go fuck themselves.

    4. This disgusting child rapist fat fuck could post an AI video of him beheading an “anti-fa” à la Nick Berg and his constituents would support him. It’s an incredibly sad view of our society.

DJT was a stress test for the Constitution, and the Constitution failed. We gotta start coming up with some new ideas now.

It feels about as close a modern day equivalent to Nero fiddling while Rome burns as is possible, to have the president and his cronies laughing over AI slop poop humor and memes during a govt shutdown with protests across the country…

    7. How is anyone voting GOP after this term ever again. ( I mean besides never having the option to vote again)

Democrats need to quit worrying about what Republicans will call them or little things a candidate said in the past and acting as if its disqualifying. No democrats come even close to,the shit Republicans say and do now days. We cant operate under strict rules for democrats and Republicans get a pass. Like the Democrats who voted with Republicans to sanction Al Greene did.

Of all the timelines to end up in, why did I slip into the one where The Onion isnt satire anymore? What dumb butterfly effect error did I commit?

This is one of the MOST UNPRESIDENTIAL things trump could do… and they still stand behind it. Damn. Remember when Mike Johnson was coming across as a “decent enough” guy? Well…. That was a lie.

    12. I’m tired of saying some version of this, but if Obama had posted a similar video on tea party protestors, Fox News would still be screaming about it to this day. The right always had flimsy justification for their rage, but now that they excuse everything a certified piece of shit does, well then how are we to ever take them seriously again. Their anger for hear on out is crying wolf bullshit and should just be ignored for the rest of time.

Republicans are irrelevant. There is nothing to work with. They just need to be replaced.

“He is not calling for the murder of his political opponents.”

      Since when?

Incredible title, make these traitors stand tall next to the facts of their actions.

Think back to 2015. Could you have ever imagined we’d see a headline like this one?

    17. Now imagine if someone made the same AI slop video, but pooping on charlie kirk’s gravestone.

Free speech n‘ all that, right guys!? right?!

    18. I feel like at this point, a humiliation kink is a prerequisite to being a loyal GOP official.

Republicans who defend this type of behavior from Trump and his closest officials, claiming that „the left“ can’t take a joke, or that Trump is just „trolling the libs,“ etc, are overlooking the fact that they’re admitting to supporting a presidential administration that has normalized „trolling“ the public—that it’s perfectly acceptable for the president of the United States and his leadership to act like insufferable children and humiliate themselves.

That when it comes to basic human decency, class, respect, Trump and his allies have no dignity left to abandon.

Trump panders to the lowest common denominator and MAGA is unironically receptive to it, even enabling this kind of behavior and cheering it on.

And keep in mind that this is all while they constantly accuse Democrats and their political opponents of being uncivil, even having the audacity to call „the left“ „brainwashed“ or „sheep“ as they clap like trained seals whenever Trump posts one of his petty or tasteless „jokes“ on social media. The cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy is baffling.

But these aren’t jokes… Because for one, they expose Republicans as having the same level of creativity and humor as a first grader, and two, because actual jokes, especially of a political nature, are supposed to punch up, not down.

Trump and his followers can’t separate humor from cruelty, intimidation, insults or vindictiveness, and what’s most telling is how when someone dares to have a laugh at Trump’s expense, these same people react with righteous anger.

And beyond that, Trump himself is so fragile and insecure that he resorts to threatening to sue or „cancel“ anyone who hurts his precious feelings.

You could argue that Trump can „dish it out but he can’t take it,“ however, he’s not even dishing it out properly in the first place. He just falls back on petty insults, childish name calling, bullying and juvenile behavior. And whenever he does, his groveling supporters mindlessly applaud and then make excuses for him.

Mind you, the only thing remotely funny about this, and I suppose in a disturbingly ironic sort of way, is how this clip unintentionally encapsulates Trump’s presidency. He’s been shitting on this country, its people and its democratic values ever since he stepped foot into office.

    20. That interviewer with Johnson right after he smirked when asked abt this video should have immediately followed with, “11 cities in Louisiana hosted a No Kings protest Mr. Speaker, do you think it’s funny that the President is sending a message that he’s shitting on your constituents?”

    21. I’ll take “Things I Never Thought I’d See In a Headline” for 600.
