Map might get a bit redder if Trump needs to bail out farmers after digging a hole for them what with tariffs and the govt shutdown.
I know jack about farms but I bet most of those MN/IA/KS/IL subsidies are corn.
You’d think a military recruitment map would be r/peopleliveincities but it’s super not.
So the people in the cities have to pay off all the orange and yellow. Got it.
As an aside, counties generally are bigger west of the Rockies. Compare Arizona with Texas or even Kansas.
The outlines of the counties in the more county-abundant states take up more space and make it more challenging to observe the various shades of color used to depict the data.
Look at all those lazy welfare queens.
