    1. Headline editorialisation – substituted individuals name with job title and country as for international audience.

    2. I think a large majority of Brits know that. The tragedy of the Brexit is that the people who voted in favor were dead by the time it was implemented.

Anyway, the brexit party is still on the top of the elections polls

If the Chancellor believes that Brexit deal caused long term damage, then is the Labour party or Keir Starmer going to run on a mandate of re-joining the EU in the 2029 GE ? Or are they going to be sitting on the fence again ?

    5. Rachel Reeves has caused long term damage to the economy. This will be the second budget she’s messed up, Before the last one she nearly talked the country down into a recession and then implimented tax changes which caused 100k+ job losses. She would have been sacked during the summer had she not had a meltdown during PMQs and played on the sympathy vote.

Desperate stuff from a desperate government.

    6. And? Brexit is irreversible, so make it work while you are in charge, because in 4 years PM Farage will also tear up the TCA and get Brexit done properly.

This is just ‘Rolling to the pitch’ for another embarrassing U-turn around tax rises at the next budget in a few weeks.
