      I live in a country bordering Russia. It’s just frustrating how they can’t behave like a normal country. We don’t prepare for invasion by anyone else, but we must prepare for one from Russia.

      If I was Azerbaijan id be sweating. No way Russia and Iran wouldnt love to take over their resources. especially russia. Iran moreso for „historical pride reasons“ as we all know plenty of Fars and even Azeris consider Azerbaijan as an offshoot of a greater Persian/Shiite empire.

      if russia controls azeri hydrocarbons, they can ACTUALLY choke Europe into forcing Ukraine to surrender

      as in, i literally believe Germany and Poland would freaking bomb Kyiv to get them to give up rather than risk having 20 euro a litre petrol and fertilizer costs that would make bread 10 euro a loaf

      no one can convince me other wise, but I am open to debate
