    1. Any time I drive past a new development I see large ugly private sector designed houses. Even the one off, commissioned houses I worked on were mostly big and ugly.

I don’t think we really put much value in how attractive our houses are.

And are these ugly houses going to be managed by corporations or the government? Because it’s the maintenance fees that make them unaffordable.

    3. If they are small and ugly then theoretically they shouldn’t lower the prices of bigger and more „desirable“ houses much.

    4. Aesthetics aside, how do these home designs enable faster housing approval turnaround?

CHMC claims they comply with regional building codes. But do municipality X recognize these being as compliant. What’s the uptake on these templates from municipalities?

Why does everyone keep saying they’re ugly? They’re contemporary, yes, but they look tastefully done to me and much better than the private attempts at it that I’ve seen pop up. Are people just upset they aren’t log cabins or something?

I think the designs look okay. It is the color choices that make them odd looking. If the colors are lighter, blue color, or a eccentric mix of color side by side like NFL, they could look just fine. Add some gardening,.and they can look rustic and cozy.
