    1. ‚Several Canadian snowbirds reported they were fingerprinted and photographed at the U.S. border this month when registering for their winter stay, which U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) told CBC News is now standard procedure.‘

      American hospitality? Hard pass.

Visit a fascist country, play fascist games I guess. There was an option at all times not to condone this insane over reach and give your money to other countries instead.

„Why are you complaining we’re going to the US? **We** don’t physically look like people who will get shoved in an unmarked truck by masked troglodytes when we’re strolling through the park, so why would **we** stop?“

      Edit: lol

„Canadian snowbirds ‚insulted‘ by new Trump administration rule“

That’s what made you feel insulted? lmao. Them saying they don’t need us at all and that we’re not a real country didn’t do it?

      No thanks!

It’s not the physical „evidence“ the CBP obtained as I’m a believer in if you have nothing to hide….but that data will never be destroyed, ever!

I’ve dealt with CBP on a professional level, and they do not abide by your rights and freedoms of the average American citizen, nor any other citizen. Once they have your data, it never gets purged, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Can it be used against you? Not likely in a civilized state. Heck, my fingerprints were uploaded to the main Canadain database as an employee, and I had no worries about that.

It’s the basis of being treated like a criminal 1st and paying for the service, too.

    5. TLDR Canada wants to do the same thing.

Canadian airports want to do the same thing to any domestic traveller and create digital IDs. UK also bringing in digital IDs. Why don’t you make a post about digital IDs and the global encroachment onto privacy rather than make inflammatory posts about the US. So boring lol
