Fighting broke out again in southern Gaza near Rafah, about a week after a ceasefire and partial Israeli withdrawal.
Palestinians reported attacks on Israeli forces, and Israel responded with air and naval strikes. Earlier, Hamas fighters had already breached the ceasefire in two incidents.
Despite restrictions on firing, about 7,000 Hamas operatives are moving around Gaza as Israel partially withdraws, while a US plan proposes further withdrawals under international oversight.
Will the cease fire hold for phase 2?
Well.. Hamas was never going to go for a full disarmament.
They prob want to drag the US into this fight. Trump has already said that only a full disarmament is acceptable.
