      It is even more impressive when you realize how difficult it can be to even get liberals to show the fuck up.

      Most of the movements people like to talk about that did influence things took a very long time to be of influence.

      People got sent to protest school and training during Civil Rights protests over desegregating schools/ cafes/busses and enforcing voting rights.

      People are just getting their feet wet. And if the goal is removing Trump or reversing policies, we have a long way to go and some other things have to happen. So people complaining it is just costume parties and dancing are missing the bigger picture that it has to start somewhere.

      North Americans have no balls. your leaders know this. look at Nepal and Iran at how they dissent. westerners stopped risking their lives for their freedom because it’s uncomfortable

      It’s a good start.

      Now time for a general strike. It’s time for state leaders to start taking action against ice kidnappings. It’s time to withhold state taxes.

      The citizens have mobilized to show we’re ready, democrat (and if there any left, brave republicans) leaders need to start following suit and stand up to this corrupt government.

      I really hope this leads to actionable change. For the sheer volume of protests across the country, maybe it might embolden some Democrats to take a more public and stronger stance against the current administration. Or cause the GOP to rein things in and not continue to lead this country into utter ruin. I just really don’t want to continue to feel hopeless after something so unifying and bold.

      You would think that some of his supporters would see 7M people protesting against what the maga believe in would wake some of them up and think, “hmm, maybe they are right? Maybe they aren’t violent? Maybe I’m on the wrong side of history?”

      They need to be way more frequent. I can’t believe we had to wait this long for another one. There should have been many more by now. The next one needs to be soon and they should be consistent and persistent. They clearly affect his confidence with the way he’s posting dumb AI videos on social media about them, and said it ruined the military parade he had for himself last time.
