      Smart. Take the flag back. The right can’t even help but to change it colors or plaster some dumb idol bullshit on it.

      The opposition doesn’t fly the American flag anyway. It’s always a modified version to appeal to a specific group of right-wing snowflakes.

      Fox actually wrote an unbiased article on the protests and didn’t say a single negative thing about it, only reported the facts.

      But the fact that the White House answered this way sounds like nothing is going to happen at all.

      Lots of flags at our 500 person event in 67% red rural farm town of 5000.

      It’s really weird when those good ol‘ Proud farmers* in their big trucks find it necessary to flip you the bird and yell „Fuck You!“ I just pretend I misheard and yell back, „I love to you too!!“

      *Said farmers on their knees these days, arms outstretched, begging for their ~~free government handouts~~ subsidies.

      I utterly love this country, and I strongly believe we as a nation should strive to truly uphold the ideals laid out in the constitution and by the founding fathers. We SHOULD be the greatest force for good in the world with all of our riches, power, and ideals.

      In order for us to reach this idealized version of what America could and should be, we must first buck all would-be tyrants and despots, the biggest one being Donald Trump. The American flag, a piece of cloth that once represented opposition to slavery and the Nazis, should not be the symbol owned and abused by the newest wave of fascist morons. It’s a perversion of what America is.

      Like I said, I love this country and what it stands for. This is why I will never stop using my patriotism as a motivator to make the country good or to improve it. Fly the flag kings because it is OURS. Any MAGAt that would fly it fundamentally does not know what America is. And god willing, history will prove who the real Americans are

      As a French person, it’s hard to describe how much these protest photos have restored my faith in the future. The level of decay the US has reached has been hard to watch, and sometimes it feels like, outside of Reddit, every American has been brainwashed to the point that all hope is lost. But today, hope was out on the streets of the USA.

      I went to two different town’s protests today, waved around a big US flag on a pole. this is our country, our flag, and it is for all of us. take it back.

      YES! We need to own the American flag. It is OURS… ALL of ours. Let GOP fly the Trump flag or Trump/Vance and we will fly the American flag. THAT is the spirit. Make America Great Again.. and I mean this in all seriousness (Trump did not coin that phrase … it was first used in 1979 or 1980 by Reagan … who today’s Republicans would consider a RIÑO guaranteed). What strategy to use the slogan (no silly acronym needed) because at the end of the day, the current administrative is hardly making America great again. Together, we can all do it and bring back the glory to our tattered flag.

      Made sure to bring my flag today. I’m tired of MAGA losers with no critical thinking skills or empathy laying claim to it as if they are the true patriots and not the traitors that history will remember them as.

      I bought 100 mini flags to hand out at the Boston rally. They were gone in less than 5 minutes.

      And not a single confederate or nazi flag like we see at maga marches and rallies. And of course on their houses and trucks. Interesting that is, isn’t it?
