  1. Whenever you see this amount of prose, it’s always a scam. You don’t even need to start reading it.

  2. Neither Booking nor Airbnb offers viewings.

And All the Unneeded Prosa and bad bad German.

    Nobody would write

    Hallo Wieder.

Nobody that has no badly translated Scam Playbook Template

Thank you everyone! After reading the comments ( and tbh a little before reading the comments) it’s a scam. I didn’t know it was this common:(

  4. One really basic tip,

Never pay anything in advance until you signed a contract, got the keys, and you’re inside the apartment.

If your contract starts 1.12.25 and you don’t have keys you don’t pay, if you get keys early you still only pay on the official date.

For the deposit, you are legally allowed to split the whole deposit payment into 3 payments of the first 3 month of the rent agreement.

Every other „fee“ or „charge“ or whatever anyone wants you to pay, is a scam.

I read the first sentence and the answer is yes, you are definitely getting scammed. How is this boring scam still working?

Read those Wiki pages, particularly the second one. It explains this literal scam.
