Man I wish we had better employee protections like how the Scandinavians do. I also feel like labour laws should not be fragmented across 13 different provincial and territorial standards and should be under 1 single federal standard so we can push through euro style labour protections.
Wage theft has always been worse than regular theft but it is the people in power doing it to the vulnerable not the inverse so nobody cares.
