Grüße. Ich bin Italiener und war diesen Sommer im Urlaub in Riga, und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich interessiere mich sehr für "magische/glückliche Dinge, die aus der Folkore stammen" (Es tut mir leid, dass ich keine bessere Möglichkeit habe, mich auszudrücken 😅) und in Riga habe ich diesen Glücksbringer als Souvenir gefunden und ihn sofort gekauft. Ich wollte fragen, ob irgendjemand diese Symbole und die Assoziation und Bedeutung, die sie haben, erkennt (und ob es echt ist, sagte der Führer, dass es so sei). Vielen Dank für Ihre Antworten

Google „Latvian Symbology“ enjoy…
Septiņdienu zīmes or symbols for the seven days of the week, its rather popular in many types of jewelry. Although this seems to be a derivative of some sorts, anyways those are well recognized Latvian symbols or „signs“ for protection, welfare etc.
These symbols are inspired by folk art and crafts, asigning meanings to them is partially a modern marketing gimmick, but locals love that kind of thing too. Looks like sun, Austras koks (world tree), zalktis (It’s non-venomous local snake species considered friendly), Jumis (it’s a symbol of fertility related to twins and double fruits) and cross of crosses
