When we say social media, do we include reddit in this? Because responding to stupid people takes a huge amount of effort and research. I am actively using my brain searching for sources, and constructing arguments. Social media shouldn’t be referring to the act of doom scrolling, which is the same as flicking through TV stations trying to find something good to watch ..
