As a shareholder of Scotiabank, I approve.
People here always seem to be shocked… SHOCKED… the fiduciary duties of publicly traded corporations are to their shareholders first and foremost, not to employees. That’s the law.
Fortunately, that’s how the real world works. And rightfully so.
