By this decision, a pet is considered „an object“ and therefore can not be subject to, for example, animal cruelty.

      Pretty fucked up.

If they lost my dog I’d probably burn the whole airport to the ground.

It is practically animal cruelty to fly animals as cargo. Imagine your cat locked-up in a cage for an eight hours Transatlantic flight. In noise and darkness, with turbulence, all alone. And there might be dogs barking next to them in another cage. Awful… So if pet owners treat their pets as objects why do they expect the court treat them differently?

Wait, then why can’t I take a pet via any airlines within my luggage capacity?

What kind of „special declaration“ or „special declaration of value“ do you need for a pet in a carrier?

The fact that it is a companion pet, meaning a sentient animal with welfare rights and very high personal value, is elementary & perfectly fine on its own without the need for any declaration. This is scandalous.

    7. What the fuck is wrong with these EU rulings lately?

Can’t say veggie burger or plant milk. Chat control. Online age verification. Now this.

    8. Europe doing something right for a change? Amen!

I don’t want to pay for someone’s poodle.
