Will someone please make him retire already? This is getting ridiculous

That poor floor. I hope it recovers from this.

Hasn’t this dude retired already?
I’m still 100% sure he’s going to die in his office and they’ll keep his corpse around to sign things for a day or two before reporting his passing.

So… are Republicans going to call this elder abuse?

Honestly half of Congress couldn’t survive a fall down some stairs.

I wonder if Trump is going to deploy the National Guard to fight the Capitol hallway floor?

He’s 83 years old. Congress is a retirement home for these people.

Mitch McConnell is already dead and his ghost is just possessing it’s own rotting corpse at this point

Clearly Biden undermined that bit of the floor. Hillary’s butterly males made the floor slippery, and Obama wore a tan suit.

Kentucky is one of five states that will NOT fill its Senatorial seats with a Gubernatorial appointee until a special election is held, should a seat become vacant.
(Which freaking SUUUCKS because the governor is Democratic)

It would be improper and irresponsible to offer sympathy this close to an election.

Ten years ago I would have had little sympathy, but today I want McConnell to live long enough to writhe in the cognitive dissonance of how his actions brought ruin to both the Republican Party and his country, and how much of a successful tool of Russia he unwittingly became, sabotaging his own country just as Russia wanted him to
The Republican party is more powerful now than it ever was, and now includes SCOTUS as its partisan asset. McConnell’s dream wishlist is fulfilled. His life’s work bearing fruit beyond his wildest dreams. But are you really *winning* Mitch? Does it feel good to see what you’ve done?

Imagine being Mitch McConnell, and surviving Polio as a kid, living to see it eradicated by vaccinations, then being a main driver in building up the party that tore down confidence in them so now he’s alive to see Polio make it’s comeback.
Such a feel-good story.

Surprised he didn’t fall through the floor straight to hell

More evidence of the need for mandatory retirement for elected officials. 70 is more than appropriate age
