Imagine the world if Trump only stopped speaking for others.
Looks like Donald Trump has to create imaginary scenarios to cover the fact that he has sabotaged US India relations for his personal interests and things are not going as he planned.
Trump is so high on his ego trip that he is feeling humiliated just to accept the fact that certain countries are not willing to bow down to him

India will be open to reducing and diversifying the supply away form over-reliance on Russia. but make no mistake India will not totally stop or shun sourcing from its cheapest and strategically most reliable energy source and risking its security.

It’s very easy – stop issuing visas to Indian citizens, and put taxes on remittances. He’ll stop buying Russian oil pretty quickly.
It didn’t take Modi to cast doubt on what Trump said about India stopping buying Russian oil. Every thinking person on earth doubts everything Trump says as the default reaction.
