Elon did a Nazi salute on the inauguration stage and they defended him. There’s fewer CPACs without Nazi salutes than with in the last decade. They routinely “accidentally” reference Nazi symbols and ideology. The Secretary of “War” either follows two religions or has decorated his entire torso with White Supremacist imagery.

The GOP is obsessed with Hitler because how dominantly he took power. The Nazi Party seized absolute control of the entire German government in less than 170 days, a One-Party State via Enabling Act. Before anyone could really register what was happening and challenge his administration, Hitler and his Party already had full authority to push any legislation he wanted and fully dismantle any checks on his power.
In order for the GOP to enact their full plan, they also want to seize absolute control under a single party and push out anyone who can stand in their way. But the American people and the US Constitution have at least put up enough obstacles that the GOP hasn’t been able to move as quickly as the Nazi Party.
