      >Trinidadian police said residents of the village of Las Cuevas reported that the two citizens were on the sunken vessel, but could not confirm their deaths.

    2. To all you people who cheer on the militarization of the country by inviting the military to sports games, buying a billion flags, and saying things like „support our troops“: this is for you. How many of them stepped up and defied an illegal order when it really mattered? Not a god damn one.

They’re just mercenaries, not heroes. Stop romanticizing them.

Fucked up that Trump was joking about how Venezuelan fisherman are afraid to work a week or 2 ago.

Crazy he can claim boats 1000+ miles from our shores have drugs and are headed here with zero repercussions.

damn if it had trinis on the boat it probably wasn’t drugs but venezulans trying to reach trinidad which means parents and kids

    5. It had to happen eventually. Let’s hope there will be a *stroke* of clarity in the administration soon or someone else will end this farce.

Can someone explain the use of „airstrike“ in this context for me? Was it done from the bomber plains? Or from another boat sites in int’l waters like the the prior ones

    7. This is insane and an impeachable offense. Just blowing up random boats you suspect carries drugs, wow.

The goal is to destabilize latin America to get back to a period of Monroe doctrine where the US IS OCCUPYING foreign nations in Latin America while imposing the insurrection act on American citizens.

Was it really an air strike? I thought they were launching from ships

    10. Air strikes could kill Americans at the point and they probably wouldn’t care.

I bet that lady dedicated her Nobel prize so she could get installed into power.

Is there any difference between this and lets say, the USCG boarding a vessel in US waters. Finding drugs on the boat, and executing all passengers on board?

At what point is that considered an act of war/invasion? Asking seriously

It’s all fun and games until the world fires back… We are so fucked

This is ridiculous. What does the administration say? “oops, sorry your Trinidadian citizens got murdered during our extrajudicial and illegal killings”.

    16. ah, the US randomly killing people in the Caribbean and Central/South America… just like old times.
