Trump saying inflation is over is like saying fire is out when the smoke is still billowing. Just look at gas prices, my paycheck is not isn’t keeping up with these prices, I can barely afford groceries these days.
The biggest news here is that most Republicans are either lying or straight up incapable of acknowledging reality because the party line demands it.

Higher grocery prices is what the people voted for. Americans voted to give us all the highest tax increase in my life time.
Obectively, factually, Biden had inflation at 2.4, which 2 is ideal. Right now it is up to 3. It peaked at 8 as bounceback from the pandemic, so if it goes up any more it’s going to get really bad. Also, if we try and adjust the knobs lije interest rates, it is going to push up unemployment to lower inflation. Biden had really lownlevels of both. Trunp somehow got us into stagflation meaning both will probably get worse. But oh no.. egg prices.
My wife usually does the grocery shopping for us, so it’s been a while since I’ve really noticed the differences. Last week I had to make a store run, spent $200 for our standard two days worth of groceries for us. Earlier this year it was $60.
Off-season produce has skyrocketed. Do I need to start adjusting my diet seasonally again? I haven’t had to do that since the 80s.

I understand why we report on what people feel and believe, but this really isn’t a feelings question, reporters can get to the bottom and actually see if inflation is continuing or not. Why is this a polling question as opposed to a raw data question?
