    1. „Seeking to keep the pressure on Hamas, Trump said he would consider allowing Israeli forces to resume fighting in Gaza if Hamas failed to uphold its end of the ceasefire deal that he brokered.

“Israel will return to those streets as soon as I say the word. If Israel could go in and knock the crap of them, they’d do that,” Trump was quoted as saying to CNN in a brief telephone call when asked what would happen if Hamas refused to disarm.

After the threat from Katz, a senior US adviser briefed the media late on Wednesday that retrieving the bodies from Gaza was difficult because it had been “pulverised”.

“There was a lot of disappointment and outrage when only four bodies were returned, and they could have just said, you know: ‘We’re moving on ….’ But they returned bodies the next day and then the next day, as quickly as we give them intelligence,” the adviser said, adding that the US and other mediators were looking at a programme of rewards for people helping locate the bodies of dead hostages.“

Hamas is killing again to exert control. Israel still killing because that’s what they do there.

No conclusion, no peace, but I’m just a Monday morning quarterback afterall.

Israel should start by re-arresting the convicted terrorists they released as part of this deal. The deal was all the bodies, and this isn’t even close. Before any tries to give me a Hamas talking point that they don’t know where the bodies are, it does not matter. They agreed to terms that the bodies would be returned.

Everyone can see what Hamas is doing. They are trying to renegotiate the deal. They will say they can’t hand over more bodies without heavy equipment then they will say they won’t allow anyone into Gaza to use that equipment and demand it be handed over to them to use to find the bodies. The international community will agree to hand over heavy equipment then Hamas will say it refuses to trust Israel or the Americans so it demands the equipment come from someone they trust such as Iran. Iran will given them the heavy equipment but the containers/trucks will also be carrying weapons for Hamas to rearm with

Hamas will put on a show of using the equipment then will find more bodies almost as though they already had the bodies

    5. And where is the proof they have any other bodies they can locate? Unfortunately, I believe them. But proof of death is just as important as proof of life. Otherwise, there is the risk that the hostages are not dead at all and are still being held captive, and the families have no closure or ability to begin to heal.

then they shouldn’t have signed the ceasefire agreement when they didn’t have all of the bodies in the first place

The idea of restarting this war and creating thousands more bodies over the fate of a handful of already dead ones is, frankly, spectacularly ghoulish.

Not that there was ever much chance of this largely imaginary ceasefire lasting either way, but still.
