There is no dark side of the moon, really. As a matter of fact, it’s all dark.
It’s surely obvious that that the side of the moon that consistently faces the earth will have a higher average insolation than the side which faces away.
Yeah obviously because the man on the moon lives on the side facing us, so his body heat doesn’t warm the dark side as much.
