    1. The IDF said it has presented the US with intelligence that determines Hamas does in fact have access to more hostage bodies, and they are simply reluctant to return them.

    2. Sounds like negotiators on the Hamas side haven’t been working in good faith?

Israel’s release of ~2000 prisoners was supposed to be in exchange for 20 living hostages and the remains of +20 more, not just the remains of seven.

    3. Great I can’t wait for the next talking point to be about how „Israel broke the ceasfire over dead bodies“ for the next 6 months. It’s seems obvious Hamas are trying to bait Israel by doing this.

      They basically said, “Welp,

we did the best we could.
      ¯\_(ツ)_/¯”

Sounds like you made an agreement that you knew you couldn’t fulfill, HamASS.

    6. Okay here me out what if the IDF killed Hamas members who knew the locations? And that’s why they can’t find more? If the twenty alive they were handed over relatively quick, I know Hamas is evil but to be in a better position cynically I have problems thinking they’re just lying.

    7. I mean, I’m actually inclined to believe them. They don’t seem to be particularly competent and have nothing to gain from lying about this.

And losing track of remains in the chaos of war could happen to the best organisations, which Hamas certainly isn’t.

Honestly they probably did. I don’t think they’re in a strong enough position to want the fighting to resume this quickly, and I think they were just sort of hoping they’d be able to turn all of them up.

I’m guessing what’s going on now is that some Hamas (or PIJ, or other) cells have the remaining bodies and aren’t willing to hand them over, and that Hamas’s leadership simply doesn’t have the control to be able to make it happen.

    9. Serious question…without the bodies, how can Israel be sure that the individuals are in fact dead and not still being held hostage or sold into slavery or whatever?

I’m sorry I just don’t care about the remains of a few dozen people while Israel continues holding hostage thousands of Palestinian civilians.

These are the people we were forced to do a ceasefire with.

Get ready for round two whenever they feel like breaking said ceasefire again and again and again

Sounds like the ceasefire terms have been broken. What do the pro-Pals think about this?
