I think the insatiable demand for only highly qualified and experienced employees in Luxembourg comes at a detriment to recent graduates, even those that are long term residents or citizens of Luxembourg prior to completing their studies. Forcing them to seek experience outside the country in some cases.

There are few junior positions offered in certain sectors, excluding internships (which are often only for active university students).

Luxembourg ranks below the EU-27 average and far behind other highly advanced economies such as the Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland. (Scandinavian countries also rank poorly, partly due to the risks of hiring inexperienced workers with strong union protections).

Luxembourg also ranked poorly in youth unemployment according to data collected by Eurostat.
