If Pakistan can get ther leadership right, which is asking a lot and probably not going to happen, ther troops are able to perform decently on the batlefield, specialy against the Taliban. But if they keep ther head stuck up ther ass like they do in Balochistan, we can expect severe casualties from both sides and litle progress

I’m honestly surprised the Taliban hasn’t drone dropping the shit out of the Pakistani army. Cheap and remote operated seems up their alley.

    3. Pakistan didn’t released these types of video evidence against India , wonder where did their camera gear go

The Frontier Corps are a specific contingent of military personnel who are trained to man the porous border with Afghanistan. They are divided in 2 groups, FC Balochistan and FC Pakhtunkwa and each are further divided into 2, North Balochistan, South Balochistan, North KPK, South KPK. They expressly made recruit from local ethnicities in the event of unrest in the frontier, requiring them to restore order. I didn’t expect to see them leading an assault as they are more like national guardsmen for those familiar with the American model.

Would Iran and Pakistan make common cause against Baluchi separatists?

I get a sense that western powers are propping up Baluchi armed groups to be used when deemed appropriate

      Anyone with insight?

While the Pakistan Army operates modern and advanced tanks like the VT4, most of their old Type 59 and Type 69 tanks were transferred over to the Frontier Corps – a paramilitary/gendarmerie with the purpose of guarding the borders and keeping the security situation under control in troubled provinces. This is mainly because the Type 59 and Type 69 perform excellently in mountainous terrain, with the FC adopting the practice of utilizing them as mobile gun positions in hilltop posts. It also sort of means that the Taliban don’t pose much of an anti-tank threat to Pakistan for them to utilize Type 59s without ERA.
