‘A high-profile politician has been contacted by a garda fraud investigation into the running of a “charity” event. Gardaí are formally probing allegations that not enough of the funds raised were passed on to charity.’
You’d have to assume the discrepancy is fairly large, or at least hope it is, considering this will probably be easy to find out who it is.
