      It’s so funny watching Trump slowly learn all the things about geopolitics that everyone else already knew and were trying to tell him.

      Watching him learn that Putin was never going to negotiate in good faith or that Hamas have no desire to end the war and WANT Israel to kill civilans.

      Trump just says whatever he likes and people report it. No one asks the follow up question which is so whose going to disarm them? Lets see who wont do it the US , NATO, the Israeli’s, Green Lantern Corp. So it must be the non existent ISF.

      Hamas/IS are not going to disarm and will spend the next few days and weeks killing all the internal opposition. The good news Greta and the River to the Sea crowd will be so buzy demonstrating about the fact that this is all our fault.

      Hamas seeks to be the dominant force in gaza. Violence seems to be the only means to maintain that.israel will not allow that. Ergo, again, why agree to phase 1 if there is nohonest intention of furfilling phase 2?

      This was always the deal. Hamas disarms willingly or unwillingly. That was clearly explained in the plan from last week. There’s no peace without Hamas disarming.

      I was told there was no possible way to fight Hamas violently without killing everyone in Gaza so, I am curious to see how this turns out.

      A great thing to do in an already violent conflict is to bring some more violence to the conflict.

      That way, you can fight fire with fire and then you can make a bigger fire

      Ok, this was part of the original deal. Turkey and Qatar backed it. Now, if hamas does not want to disarm, it’s on them to make sure that hamas leadership does not hide in Turkey and Qatar.
