    1. I wholeheartedly agree with this.

      Our committees are full of nonsense. That Alexander wouldn’t repeat this outside the House on the day is horrific. The best way for parliamentary committees to reassert themselves as meaningful is to throw their weight around when there emerges evidence that they’ve been suckered by witnesses.

      We should not tolerate politicians who tolerate being deceived, either knowingly or unknowingly, by witnesses at committee.

      The committee should act to find the ultimate source of these fraudulent documents and threaten perjury to anyone who lies and obfuscates when asked a direct question under oath.
