      Jared Leto doesn’t have the pull he once did, a lot of people know he’s a cult leader which isn’t helping him out. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I have a feeling I will end up enjoying it because I appreciate Tron.

      Will this movie finally be the one to get through to movie exec’s skulls that *literally* nobody cares about Jared Leto. Actually, it’s that everyone hates him. Everyone. Who are they trying to please giving him endless lead roles????

      >From the gigantic Marvel flop that was „Morbius“ ($167 million worldwide) to his inclusion in the disastrous „Haunted Mansion“ ($117 million worldwide/$150 million budget), Leto’s misfires in recent years have been many, with virtually no hits to counteract them. So, as much as Leto is seen as an A-lister, audiences haven’t indicated that they care about him in any way. If anything, he appears to be a deterrent at this point (and that’s without even getting into the misconduct allegations against him). At the very least, he didn’t help this movie’s case any.

      They’re starting to figure out that nobody cares about Jared Leto as an actor and he may turn more people away than he brings in. It only took 3 straight flops – WTF?

      They are out of touch with the actors. I don’t know why anyone would hire Jared after suicide squad. He did such a bad job at acting nobody wants to see him anymore. Also he’s a cult leader who thinks he’s Jesus.

      I think a lot of people’s wary of paying $50 for a 2 hour experience that may be less than lackluster. Make Movies affordable again

      I have regal unlimited and too much time on my hands so I’ve seen it multiple times. I had no idea Jared Leto was so hated before this but he’s also not a celebrity I really keep up with.

      The music the vibe had me interested until ….Leto . I will check out the soundtrack only .

      I saw it this weekend and liked it. Not a Jared Leto fan but a Tron fan and it was much better than expected for me.

      Jared Leto killed it for me. Based on what would anyone make this guy the lead? He’s toxic as f’ck. And there’s no real connection between him and the rest of the franchise. What a waste of an incredible IP

      Am always intrigued by uploads that show far more comments than actual upvote-worthiness. Am also not disappointed by all the Jared Leto talk. As SillyMikey said, as soon as I knew he was in it I passed. And I am kinda fond of Tron: Legacy, despite its faults.

      Everyone hates on Jared Leto (and probably rightfully) but that’s not the real reason.

      No one likes to admit it, but they gave the real reason (in my opinion.)

      „People don’t care about Tron.“

      It’s NEVER been a huge IP. It is remembered as a really cool, unique movie and that’s about it. It had one previous sequel that was like 30 years later and it did… just kind of OK. Now we’re another 15 years later, another sequel to a movie that no one was all that fired up about.

      It’s weird to think that it would have ever been a huge blockbuster to begin with, as it was never a huge IP to start.

      Bad news for the continuation of the franchise and you could see this coming a mile away.

      I sincerely hope they recast him and continue, leto is making people come down harder on this film than they should have. I think we deserve more Tron.

      The real question is why/how this Jarred Letoo guy keeps getting put in movies. My research led to this: Leto keeps getting roles because Hollywood loves buzz, obsession, and notoriety more than consistent audience approval. Flops and internet hate = just part of the mystique. He’s basically a risk-for-attention play, not a guaranteed hit.
