Edit: And before anyone claims that the deal recognized that it would take time for some of the bodies to locate them, Hamas negotiated saying they had 12 known ones upfront. So, either they lied, or they are holding 8 back.

If Hamas doesnt follow through with what they agreed to then they are the ones choosing to tank the peace deal. Israel just released nearly 2000 prisoners, and Hamas cant be relied upon to release bodies.
It wasnt enough for Hamas kidnap and murder them, they also want to keep the bodies as trophies and desecrate the remains apparently.
Hamas has no cards here, and if they choose to end the peace deal by breaking their commitments then they effectively value forgoing Gaza rebuilding and recovery over simply releasing their murdered hostages.
Israel should have no say in aid Gaza.

Fuck the title on this article. Hamas was negotiating under false pretences and the agreement was based on the assumption that all hostages, living and dead would be returned. Hamas was lying about its ability to follow through with the deal. It’s fucking heartbreaking that these terrorists have so much control over Gazan lives.
What some people don’t realise is that the deliberate restriction of food/water etc. by an occupying force is a war crime – there are no exemptions to this. While Hamas may well be delaying or breaking the terms of ceasefire, it is unlawful for aid to be used as a punishment for these acts, instead the correct route would have been for Israel to delay the release of Palestinians or withdrawal of troops.
Using aid as a weapon is against international law I thought?
So the bombardements are paused, but the starvation program and land theft continue. As expected. But since the war is now over, Netanyahus corruption trial can continue, right ? Right ?
A deal is a deal. Both parties to fulfill else it’s meaningless.
