Don Blankenship shut down his coal mines, and then flooded the airwaves with messages blaming the democrats. The racism was also rampant.
In the Democratic Primary they voted for a convicted felon running from prison, over Obama. Officials tried tried prevent the state from embarrassing itself like that, by keeping the felon off the ballot. Don Blankenship turned around and used that against the officials the next time they were up for election.
I think its the populist movement with the fires fanned by fox news before it was found out that fox news was, like the WWE, for entertainment only and was in fact all lies and propaganda. Now its too late
