    1. Gotta make up for all the lost American market due to tariffs. This is bad news not only for the environment, but also for what’s left of British manufacturing.

    2. Like it or not, this route will become the norm for North American destinations as well as Europe.

      We need to start seeing the Arctic as a navigable sea and start planning accordingly.

      Yes, we broke up all the ice in the Arctic but think about all of the value that’s being created for shareholders, I’m so happy for them

    7. Everything we buy has an environmental impact.
      People should stop buying things just because they’re a good price or they just got bored of their current things, etc. Only buy what’s necessary for you to live comfortably. That’s the only way we can fight with these greedy companies and nations.

      Petrol companies knew this was inevitable and had been drafting new shipping lanes in internal documents since the ’70’s IIRC. When I first heard about it I didn’t think it would happen in my lifetime.
