China’s exports are rising at the fastest rate of the past six months. They have almost infinite patience. Meanwhile US farmers are hurting, prices are rising, and Trump has the patience of a small child.
China can say whatever they want. Their leaders have little to worry when it comes to mid-term elections, or any real elections for that matter.

China won this war before it began. Its rare earths monopoly power is greater than that wielded by OPEC in the 1970’s.
Soybean , LNG , beef and other trade was entered into with the US not because it was a good deal for Chine but more so that it could be taken away in the event of a trade dispute.
China now imports from elsewhere at more favourable exchange rates and prices.

I don’t like this new trend of China being portraited as the new hero. They’ve done nothing to deserve it. Trump is an idiot, but US has been a very helpful ally for decades for many Eastern Asian countries. They’ve earned their respect, while China government have been doing the exact opposite. I mean, look at their allies, for one, North Korea isn’t doing any well by any standards.
