Yeah, I remember the Greek Mythology on display at this historically Greek event. I absolutly remember this image of Dionysus, who wasn’t a demon. In fact, Greek mythology doesn’t even have demons, but daemons. And daemons weren’t evil.
Demons, though, are fallen angels who rebelled against God. That never was on display. Chances are, people saw something they didn’t immediately understand and instead of trying to understand, made it all about themselves and their own religion.
On top of that, if people want to worship demons, they have every right and it’s getting old hearing people in this very room acting like they don’t. You don’t, on the other hand, have any right to take that away from them.
